Application Development Manager at Day & Zimmermann in Lewisville, TX
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of application developers and system SMEs to maintain and develop technical solutions to meet business needs Lead and manage team projects across multiple lines of business Serve as applications development expert and consult leadership on software requirements and recommend solutions Provide technical and architectural guidance and apply best practices for new and existing development Review and analyze legacy applications and support efforts to upgrade or enhance Hands on development as needed and code reviews Ensure apps/systems design and architecture is maintained while contributing to the delivery of project commitments Create and maintain architectural/design diagrams for applications and systems Maintain application and system uptime and apply proactive approach to supporting systems for optimal user experience Coordinate with other IT team members in resolving application or system outages or issues Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience 2
years leading or managing development teams 10
years hands-on experience design & development of enterprise level software applications 5
years hands on front end design & development 2
years with native and hybrid mobile development Experience working with:
.NET, .NET Core, C#, JavaScript Frameworks, SQL, Oracle, HTML/CSS Expert knowledge of web and mobile technologies Experience with DevOps and CI/CD technologies, such as JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins and GitHub source control Experience or knowledge with middle ware and ESB platforms Experience working in an Agile environment:
Scrum and Kanban Proven ability to mentor, train, design, and use best testing practices Professional demeanor and proven ability to work collaboratively with other team members Must be able to communicate well with end-users Must be organized and have good planning skills
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
