Service Center CSCS TX As the Asset Administrator, you'll play a key role in managing and maintaining our IT assets, with a special focus on mobility devices like laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
Your responsibilities will include tracking, auditing, procurement, disposal, and optimization of IT assets to keep our operations running smoothly and securely.
The ideal candidate should have a solid background in IT asset management, great communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Maintain an accurate inventory of mobility assets, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
Track asset allocation and ensure proper distribution to employees.
Monitor the lifecycle of mobility assets, from procurement to disposal.
Implement security measures to safeguard mobile devices and data.
Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset records.
Identify discrepancies and take corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures.
Collaborate with procurement teams to acquire new IT assets.
Analyze asset usage data to identify opportunities for optimization.
Recommend upgrades, replacements, or consolidations to improve efficiency.
Implement cost-effective asset management strategies.
Coordinate the secure disposal or recycling of retired assets.
Ensure data sanitization and compliance with environmental regulations.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of asset-related information.
Generate reports on asset status, utilization, and cost analysis.
Provide regular updates to IT management.
Assist teammates with asset-related inquiries and issues.
Provide training on asset management best practices.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (3-5 years) in IT asset management, with a focus on mobility assets.
Knowledge of asset tracking software and tools.
Strong understanding of IT procurement processes.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
