Our client is currently seeking a WINDOWS SYSTEMS ENGINEER.

email removed The Windows Engineers is responsible for the health and welfare of the hardware and operating system, as well as Active Directory and associated disciplines such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, etc.
We are 80% virtualized in our server environment, so basic knowledge of VMWare is necessary.
This person is vital to troubleshooting issues with servers and apps.
Our engineers must have an understanding of the different Operating System in this environment as well and how to build, tune and support them.
This job will have the following
Responsibilities:
Provides technical expertise in the development and implementation of technology solutions including; platforms, operating systems, and infrastructure tools across the enterprise Serves as a technical expert to lower level engineers.
Partner with infrastructure teams to provide the business with the best possible solution.
Keeps up to date on technology trends Responsible for participating in business and infrastructure projects to stand up or migrate applications or systems.
Ensure that the best solution is designed, agreed to, and delivered while complying with Company policies and procedures Has thorough understanding of technical concepts required for specialized field.
Uses that knowledge, creativity and company practices and priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems.
Provides work leadership to others.
Interfaces with senior management to provide and obtain information and to build consensus regarding project directionResponsible for making sure the day-to-day support teams have what they need to manage the environment and will assist in troubleshooting issues as neededDevelopment and the implementation of standards in order to provide enterprise level of support Qualifications & Requirements:
BS and 5
years of extensive Windows administration or equivalent Experience with VMWare Experience with Linux Thorough understanding of Active Directory Thorough knowledge of DNS, WINS, DHCP and DFS Familiar with utilizing SAN Storage Solid Knowledge of Citrix Servers Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work within a team Ability to work with application developers to resolve serverapplication issues Ability to work with end users to resolve issues when required Off hours on call will be required Through knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
